Two-Dimensional Shapes

Investigate two-dimensional shapes like triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, and ellipses. Explore three-dimensional shapes like spheres, pyramids, cylinders, cones, and prisms. Gain a greater understanding of the differences between two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes. Identify the difference between an isosceles and equilateral triangle, or the difference between a rhombus and square. Discover the difference between polygons and polyhedrons. Each book is colorful and easy to move through. A few of the books offer post activities. The middle reader books are illustrated. The young adult choices are varied and good. Some book selections have an email address if a reader would like to contact the author. Good site for a reluctant reader.

If you need some help just click on the suggested word and find out about the parts of speech. Some examples are offered. Topics include: Frida, the Cat, The Carnival Show, Cable Television, Haunted House, and The Mummy. There are thirteen story starts. Parts of speech include nouns, adjectives, verbs, and adverbs. There are also exclamations such as Wow.
